Hi.  Let me introduce myself

My name is Al, I am 55 years old and have only recently got into photography on a more serious level.  I have become more interested in this since the advent of digital cameras being available to the man on the street as it is now easy to dispose of photos which are not of a good standard without wasting money on developing. 

I am also a member of two camera clubs which have encouraged and helped me to progress with my photography.   

I started with a Fuji 6800 Compact which I had for about 3 years then a couple of years with a Nikon D70.  I have now progressed onto a Nikon D200 with various Sigma Lenses. The reason for this website is for me to hopefully get some honest constructive feedback from people who may or may not know me and also to share my shots with family, friends and other like minded people that I come into contact with.
